Position: Farm Safety Outreach Coordinator
The newly formed Manitoba Farm Safety Program (FSP) requires a Farm Safety Outreach Coordinator. This person will provide primary support and be responsible for developing, communicating and deploying resources essential to creating safety awareness and programs specifically for Manitoba Farmers.
This is a new position supporting a new program and will appeal to persons looking to get in the ground floor and make an impression.
It is a term position with possibility for extension.
Job Duties include:
- Assist in developing program resources such as manuals, promotional materials and on-line tools
- Assist in planning for various health and safety events
- Oversee the development and maintain a website and other social media platforms as required
- Post secondary education in Marketing, Administration, Communications or Business
- Good English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent social media skills and experience in website maintenance
- Preferred experience in the agricultural industry
