HyLife Ltd. is a progressive Manitoba based company. HyLife and its affiliates have feed and pork operations and genetics and meat sales in various countries around the world. This position is based at the Head Office in the vibrant community of LaBroquerie, Manitoba. We are currently seeking a highly motivated person to fill the position of Solutions Analyst.  The Solutions Analyst is a broad-based role which engages with clients on all facets of the business needs. As the Solutions Analyst you will support the business through effective management of value, risk, content, communication, knowledge and resources. You will play a key role in designing, modeling, building and deploying functional solutions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Continuous monitoring of process performance indicators to identify opportunities and work with process owners to pro-actively address challenges
  • Identify and leverage best practices from internal and external resources and apply to areas of opportunity
  • Participate in identifying and prioritizing opportunities through financial evaluation
  • Provide input into developing and modifying processes to meet client needs and develops business requirements to support these modifications
  • Construct models from a concept to test for viability
  • Develop and document data collection and analysis tools to enable operations groups to function efficiently and effectively in order to meet their objectives and successfully complete their initiatives
  • Build and maintain databases for ongoing analysis that are integrated and scalable
  • Work with users to identify, diagnose and solve issues

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in business or consulting
  • Proficient in MS Office as well as common software applications
  • Has a sharp business sense and the ability to identify business opportunities
  • Excellent communication, organizational,  analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Proven leadership skills in a flexible, ever changing environment to achieve desired results
  • Must be willing to travel on a regular basis
