Journeyperson Electrician

The Puratone Corporation is seeking a highly motivated individual with the ability to perform electrical duties at various livestock farms throughout Southwest Manitoba.

Responsibilities:

•       Electrical farm maintenance

•       Provide ventilation and repair training

•       Supervise electrician sub-contractors

•       Manage the alarm system audits

•       Review and recommend participation of Manitoba Hydro Programs

The successful candidate will have achieved their Journeyperson Electrician - Manitoba certification with the ability to work in a barn atmosphere.  Candidates must have a  minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a farm system, ideally in hog farm environments, with proven farm ventilation experience.  Working knowledge of MS Office and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.  A contractors’ license is preferred but not required
