CWSHIN – Canada-West Swine Health Intelligence Network

Scroll down for previous CWSHIN and CSHIN (Canadian Swine Health Intelligence Network) reports.

CWSHIN (the Canada-West Swine Health Intelligence Network) was created in 2015 to help producers stay informed about swine disease monitoring and disease knowledge transfer in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. This Western Canadian alliance of producers, veterinarians and scientists issues quarterly reports on information collected, surveyed and discussed within the network. Manitoba Pork forwards the CWSHIN reports directly to pork producers by email and posts them here on our website.

Always consult with your swine veterinarian if you have any questions about the information in the CWSHIN reports, or have herd health questions or concerns in general. If you would like to discuss this initiative further, contact Mark Fynn, Manitoba Pork’s Manager of Quality Assurance and Animal Care Programs, at 204-235-2302 or mfynn@manitobapork.com.
