On March 16, 2011, Manitoba Pork released its sustainable development plan, called Embracing a Sustainable Future. The plan contains 82 commitments made on behalf of the province's pork producers that will help ensure a sustainable future for pork production.
It is the beginning of a conversation with Manitobans about how farmers intend to farm in the years to come.
