SWINE PRODUCTION MANAGER

            Riconny Farms is seeking an individual passionate about swine production. This person will be responsible for all aspects of a 3000 sow multi-site farrow to wean operation and a 4000 head finishing barn.

                                                                                                                                                         REQUIREMENTS:

- 4 years of experience in hog production, a University or Post Secondary degree/ diploma in Agriculture or a degree in Veterinary medicine required.

-must be able to work with/ manage/train and schedule employees

-ability to oversee maintenance of barn and equipment

-must have a valid driver’s license

-must be in good health

-Individual will be responsible to coordinate employees for after hours emergency response calls to the barns.

- must be able to keep accurate, organized data

-must be able to arrange trucking and schedule pig movement to        our finishing operations in Iowa.

- some weekend work may apply

-some travel from time to time may apply to attending seminars, production meetings and inspection of our finishing production in Northwest Iowa.

Salary starts at 45,000.00 - $60,000.00 depending on experience and knowledge.

- Bonus based on production – calculated quarterly
