This position will involve a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Performing regular care and maintenance of plant MUA (Make-Up Air) units and related accessories.
• Conducting daily equipment checks to ensure proper functioning and identify potential issues.
• Carrying out scheduled tasks such as filter inspections/replacements and lubrication of components.
• Handling small-scale repairs, including replacing bearings and belts.
• Collaborating with external contractors for troubleshooting and complex repair tasks.
• Performing daily inspections of rooftop equipment, including condensers, penthouse evaporators, valve stations, and pipe insulation.
• Providing assistance to the Maintenance and Engineering departments with additional support tasks as needed.
• Addressing and completing work orders outside of regular duties as assigned.
• Being available for weekend shifts and overtime as operational needs arise.
• Other Duties as assigned

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• Red Seal Certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanical (Commercial).
• Red Seal Certification as a Gasfitter (Domestic B).
• MOPIA License.
• Brazer’s License.
• Electrical M License.
• Registered Apprentice Gasfitter with at least 3/4 levels completed.
• 8-10 years of experience in HVAC systems and commercial roofing.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
