- Executing the Plant Preventative Maintenance program using the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Coordinating labor, equipment, and materials to support maintenance activities
- Prioritizing and scheduling work orders to align with production needs
- Planning and overseeing large electrical and mechanical shutdown work
- Managing contractor-based repairs within the facility
- Organizing, distributing, and auditing work orders to maximize efficiency
- Collaborating with purchasing to ensure parts availability for maintenance execution
To Succeed, You Must Possess:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Maintenance Planner role
- Knowledge of maintenance practices, procedures, and planning principles
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in CMMS, Excel, and MS Office applications
- Experience in a unionized and food production environment
- Mechanical or Electrical Journeyman certification (an asset)
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing principles
