Sustainability

#intro

The 22,000 Manitobans who work in the hog sector share many of the same concerns that you and your family have: we want to see opportunities for all of us to thrive while ensuring that future generations can experience those same opportunities.

Manitoba Pork’s mission is to foster sustainability and prosperity throughout the sector for the good of all Manitobans. We support the hog sector and its members, who spend their lives producing safe, nutritious food, while caring for their livestock, protecting the environment, and the province’s natural resources, promoting public health and contributing to healthy and vibrant Manitoba communities.

That mission is accomplished through six key areas: Animal Care, Economy, Environment, Food, People and Culture, and Pork Provides. We invite you to browse through these pages, view our resources, and consider the positive impact the hog sector has on our province.

For all media requests, please contact Joey Dearborn, Communications and Website Coordinator, at jdearborn@manitobapork.com.
