Manitoba Pork has collaborated with Agriculture in the Classroom – Manitoba to develop a FREE hands-on curriculum-linked resource for grades 7 & 8 Food and Nutrition students. With the Make it Pork! Meal Kit, students will gain experience cooking with pork, while practicing safe food handling guidelines and learning about pork’s nutritional qualities.
The Make it Pork! Meal Kit comes complete with all the ingredients needed to make Mexicali Pork Soup. Each kit is designed for one group of four students and includes the Student Resource, as well as the Protein Match-up and Pork: A Natural Source of Protein brochures.
