Your days will include:

• Leading daily production activities on the Cut Floor while ensuring safety and quality standards
• Maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety, and legislative requirements
• Planning and coordinating production by scheduling staff, setting priorities, and resolving issues
• Coaching, training, motivating, and developing unionized employees and lead hands
• Monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement in yields, labour, and processes
• Troubleshooting production challenges and supporting cost-effective operations
• Supporting special projects and performing other related duties as assigned

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• Grade 12 education
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in food processing operations
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and cost management
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams in a unionized environment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to work in a cold environment and stand for extended periods
