Your days will include:

· Assisting with the daily coordination of live hog receiving operations

· Executing the unloading of hog trailers

· Supervising hog receiving workers and reporting daily activities

· Building and maintaining positive working relationships with livestock drivers

· Shuffling and guiding hogs into pens safely and humanely

· Supporting animal care initiatives, including humane handling and disposal of downer animals

· Ensuring barn cleanliness, including straw removal areas and clear roadways

· Performing other related duties as assigned

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in animal care

· At least 2 years of supervisory experience

· Strong animal handling skills and a commitment to animal welfare

· Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills

· A team-focused mindset with a polite and professional demeanor

· A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to adapt processes

· Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as required
