Your days will include:
- Managing daily export operations and coordinating international pork shipments
- Ensuring compliance with CFIA regulations and importing country requirements
- Coordinating inspections, certification, and communication with CFIA officials
- Reviewing and maintaining accurate export documentation, traceability, and records
- Partnering with Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs, and Logistics to execute compliant shipments on schedule
- Monitoring regulatory changes and implementing required updates
- Investigating export non-conformances and supporting compliance audits
- Maintaining export procedures and continuous improvement initiatives
- Performing other related duties as assigned
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Experience in export operations or regulatory compliance within food or meat manufacturing
- Knowledge of CFIA requirements, HACCP, and regulatory audit processes
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-compliance environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation systems
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required
- Grade 12 minimum; post-secondary in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
