We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator/Manager to oversee multiple plant maintenance and capital projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

- Managing multiple plant maintenance and capital projects under $1M from planning through completion.
- Defining project scope (MOJ), budgets, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Tracking project costs and addressing budget variances.
- Securing permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals prior to project start-up.
- Sourcing and selecting contractors; ensuring contracts, insurance, and documentation are in place.
- Enforcing company safety and biosecurity standards.
- Coordinating schedules, material deliveries, and required site inspections.
- Maintaining project documentation, including drawings, warranties, invoices, and close-out records.
- Communicating progress and risks with Operations, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, and Leadership teams.
- Supporting annual capital and R&M budget planning.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- 3 years of project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge of budgeting, basic accounting principles, and building codes.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, continuous improvement environment.
- Grade 12 diploma required; post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering Technology, or Project Management is an asset.
