Wash Bay Attendant
Landmark, MB – Full Time Position
Starting wage - $16.00 per hour
Our company paid benefits package for full time employees includes Major Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, as well as enrollment in the Maple Leaf Pension Plan.
Shift premiums paid for hours worked on Afternoon and Evening Shifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful applicants will be responsible for the washing of trucks & trailers; scraping and cleaning of trailers; safe operation of lift deck trailers, removing chase boards, shovels and scrapers from trailers; washing the walls of the wash bay and general clean up procedures to building and yard. The successful applicant will possess a strong work ethic, be able to work independently and as a high-performing team member, be willing to work flexible hours including shift work, and adhere to all Maple Leaf Agri-Farms bio-security procedures and protocols.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION:
• Willingness and ability to learn; strong team and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Positive work ethic and attitude, attention to detail
• Ability to lift 25 kg
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge
