Your days will include:
• Cultivating a safe and clean work environment, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Upholding stringent quality and legislative standards through adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Prioritizing animal welfare by strictly enforcing humane handling practices.
• Collaborating with CFIA to navigate government regulations and procedures effectively.
• Directing and overseeing daily production operations with a proactive approach to anticipate and troubleshoot challenges.
• Implementing production plans, efficiently scheduling and assigning tasks to employees, and resolving issues promptly.
• Driving Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance performance, achieve cost reductions, and maintain high-quality standards.
• Continuously improve employee relations, yields, labor results, equipment, and sanitation.
• Develop, direct, manage, train, and motivate employees effectively.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
• A preferred two years of supervisory work experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in proactively managing the Employee Relations/Management relationship.
• Results-oriented mindset, collaborative teamwork, and a commitment to embodying HyLife Foods company values.
• Outstanding planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• A continuous learner with a willingness to embrace change.
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
