Your days will include:
• Installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing low and medium voltage distribution systems (single and three phase systems), power distribution and generation (generators, transformers, switchgears, breakers), HVAC, emergency systems (boilers, refrigeration, energy control, alarm)
• Working with electrical equipment (AC Drives, power control circuits, starters, MCC's, motors), Microprocessor-based systems (PLC's, electronic circuits, controls), and Instrumentation (pneumatic controls, PID, transducers, servos, analog/digital signals)
• Conducting Planned Preventative and Predictive Maintenance and maintaining maintenance records
• Recommending and implementing corrective actions and repairs
• Assisting in planning and organizing work activities (interpreting drawings, preparing parts)
• Understanding and adhering to all plant Safety Policies

To succeed in this role, you must possess:
• Red Seal Trades Certification and experience in electrical, instrumentation, automation, and pneumatics
• Essential experience with Weight Scales, HMI, Allen Bradley SLC5 PLC, VFD, Servomotors, Profibus/Ethernet Network Communications
• A strong awareness of workplace hazards, prioritizing safety
• Decision-making ability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and multitask
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a multifunctional team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Availability for shift rotations and weekends
• Capability to perform bending, lifting, and climbing with appropriate equipment
• Ability to work in various environments with exposure to chemicals
