Your days will include:
- Assisting in planning and executing events, including parades, employee BBQs, and community engagement activities.
- Creating and distributing internal communications such as newsletters, memos, and content on Beekeeper.
- Generating engaging visuals and managing contests to enhance employee engagement.
- Capturing high-quality images and videos to support storytelling and digital communications.
- Supporting initiatives like HyLife Holiday Helpers, Community Spring Clean Ups, and We Care Coat Drives.
- Designing simple, effective visuals for digital screens, posters, and promotional content.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Communications or Event Management preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in photography, video editing, and basic graphic design using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience coordinating events and supporting community engagement activities.
- Familiarity with internal communication tools such as Beekeeper and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive attitude.
