Your days will include:

  • Collecting, entering, and reporting data for various Health & Safety programs
  • Supporting the Health & Safety Supervisor with monitoring activities
  • Coordinating training programs and testing with internal and external vendors
  • Assisting with audits, inspections, and compliance checks for emergency and equipment plans and MSDS
  • Tracking and documenting job hazard analyses and safe work procedures
  • Participating in meetings and maintaining accurate records of discussions and action items
  • Performing additional tasks as needed to support the Health & Safety team

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Post-secondary education or relevant experience in Occupational Health and Safety (an asset)
  • General knowledge of provincial OH&S legislation, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and the ability to learn new software applications
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • A strong focus on workplace and food safety
